Magic BJJ at 2015 IBJJF Masters Worlds

What a great weekend in Vegas at the IBJJF Masters Worlds. To recap, at black belt I went 1 and 1 winning by sub and losing by points in master 3, Randy Barton went 1 and 1 in purple master 3, Amy Jentz won gold in purple master 3, and Tracey Barton and Amy Jentz closed out master 3 purple absolute.  Kevin James had a tough match and lost on points. I’m so proud of everyone and how could I be with two new world champs.

On top of that Magic BJJ ties for 9th in top 10 female competitors with less than 6 points separating us from the top 5 with only two competitors. Time to get Amy Dodson Linsemier and Fredrica Introne ready for 2016 so we can push further up the ladder!

It was also a pleasure to see Chris Haueter in action on the mats live and in person. Lastly I just want to send a shout out to all the other Midwest competitors and coaches. Regardless of affiliation I’m proud of how everyone represented Jiu Jitsu.
